Last Night a Hacker Saved My Life

PRESS RELEASE:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 01.05.15

Hacker group Anonymous have found their true calling – hacktivism – or hacking for the social good. Their aim is now dislodging Isis from its comfortable home on the internet and social media. Last night they blocked a malicious Denial of Service (DNS) attack on the home site for the Campaign to Examine Islam, examine-islam.org, and have vowed to bring down the culprits.

Despite worldwide horror and condemnation at its acts, Isis accounts and websites have been able to function and draw followers to their sordid mission of murder through well funded videos and a campaign of ‘grooming’ or targeting young Muslims worldwide to join them.

Martha van der Pol, founder of the campaign to Examine Islam says:

“Since starting examine-islam.org, I have been contacted with threats by various extremists and Isis supporters, and have each time passed on the details to the Met Police’s Counter Terrorism Command Centre – each time to receive NO response whatsoever.

“It is clearly time for the ordinary citizens of the world to take dealing with terrorism into their own hands. Citizens are going to fight Isis independently and through groups such as Sons Of Liberty International , citizens are working through Social Media to try and bring about the acknowledgement of the Islamic terror problem and the action needed to deal with it.

“Anonymous Ghost Security is the one organisation which can and is making the difference which providers of web hosting services, social media companies, search engines and especially the police, are failing miserably with. That is – closing down and attacking Isis sites.”

Ghost Security is a splinter group of the Anonymous collective which conducts counterterrorism operations worldwide.

Made up of a special group of hacktivists sponsored by Anonymous, Ghost Security – or GhostSec – is now attacking websites and destroying networks used by pro-terrorist groups affiliated and sympathetic to ISIS. According to one of their tweets, GhostSec has attacked 233 websites – destroying 85 in the process – and “terminated” 25,000 Twitter accounts used by ISIS supporters.
Martha van der Pol says:
Through its security division Ghost Security, Anonymous is now on a global mission to help “cure the ISIS virus.”
“Contributing to this effort is critical if you want to rid the world of the evil cult of Isis. Currently the Anonymous fraternity receive no funding for the work they do – the countless hours of hacking for the good of the world, the costs they incur can run to $300 each per month. It is high time we all shared in this – since our governments are failing miserably to end the horrific butchery of humanity which Isis and its supporters are dishing out day after day around the world”.

A spokesperson for Anonymous Ghost Security says:

“If you would like to contribute to Ghost Security via donation our Bitcoin address can be found below. All funds received will go towards server maintenance expenses and hardware to combat the Islamic State.

About Examine Islam:

Martha van der Pol founded the Examine Islam campaign following the Islamic terrorist attack on Parisian cartoonists Charlie Hebdo, and a Jewish Kosher supermarket in January 2015. The attacks marked a renewed commitment to harming Western democracy, freedom and security. Examine Islam’s mission is to tackle the failure on the part of Western leaders to properly acknowledge the deep running problem within Islam, and hence their failure to deal with it. This is putting innocent people in danger – from the vicious and senseless murder of Drummer Lee Rigby on London’s streets to the systematic grooming of English girls by Muslim rape gangs, we have been witnessing the failure of too many in the Islamic communities of the West to adapt the violent teachings of Islam’s foundational texts to a peaceful existence in the West. Isis and their followers and fellow travellers in the West are merely following the edicts of Muhammad in the Koran and Hadiths, such as:

“…The penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger …. is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land.” [Quran 5: 33]

Please support Examine Islam by subscribing to our newsletter – we are soon to launch with a new petition and you will thus be first to know. Please also donate as much as you can by making an email payment anonymously to marthavanderpol@gmail.com

Too afraid to sound like a ‘bigot’ to name the true threat

This fascinating take on Islam and the Western fear of sounding like ‘bigots’ by naming the problem of Islam, rather choosing to ascribe it to lone wolf attacks or spurious ‘Islamism’ – despite what all the Jihadis tell us – they are doing it for Islam!

This article is horrific – but when the West is considering what to do about Isis – it is essential reading (unfortunately) – not one for kids.

Moral relativism seems to always favour Muslim aggressors over those defending themselves

Here I reprint part of an article by Raymond Ibrahim originally published in PJ Media and FrontPage Mag:

West Misses Point—and Lesson—of Buddhist Anti-Muslim Sentiment

Consider the words of Fr. Daniel Byantoro, a Muslim convert to Orthodox Christianity:

“For thousands of years my country (Indonesia) was a Hindu Buddhist kingdom.  The last Hindu king was kind enough to give a tax exempt property for the first Muslim missionary to live and to preach his religion. Slowly the followers of the new religion were growing, and after they became so strong the kingdom was attacked, those who refused to become Muslims had to flee for their life to the neighboring island of Bali or to a high mountain of Tengger, where they have been able to keep their religion until now. Slowly from the Hindu Buddhist Kingdom, Indonesia became the largest Islamic country in the world. If there is any lesson to be learnt by Americans at all, the history of my country is worth pondering upon. We are not hate mongering, bigoted people; rather, we are freedom loving, democracy loving and human loving people. We just don’t want this freedom and democracy to be taken away from us by our ignorance and misguided “political correctness”, and the pretension of tolerance. (Source: Facing Islam, endorsement section).

Athar Khan – There Are NO Moderate Muslims

Athar Khan is an extremely brave young secular Canadian Muslim of Pakistani origin who has the courage to speak out about Islam – the truth of the intolerance and racism inherent within it. In this clip with Michael Rosen he talks bout the glaring lack of ‘Not in Our Name’ gatherings of Muslims marching out in support of victims of Islam:

“Muslims have contempt for minorities and Jews. In the Muslim community since I was young, I have experienced this.

“Canadian society is the most caring society. People coming from Pakistan etc – they are not as caring as Canadians. Muslims often buy into Leftist narrative and vice-versa. Anjem Choudary picks up Leftist talking points when he comes to the UK.

“A Pakistani woman told me – I would not send my son to Isis but to Israel (to Hamas) I definitely would”

The Hadith, Life of Muhammad – The Root of Isis and Islam’s Fondness for Terrorism.

ab13

If you are still doubtful about where Isis are getting the inspiration for their hideous acts of evil – look no further than Islamic narrations of Muhammad’s life. The ‘Hadith’ are full of the evils of Muhammad himself – please see the below extracts from hadithcollection.com – these are the accepted Islamic sources so Muslims cannot blame ‘Islamophobia’ for bringing them up. Muhammad is seen as the ‘ideal man’ who should be emulated – so his actions as retold in the Hadith are a serious indictment of Islam as a fit belief system for the civilised free world. The actions of Isis, Al-quaeda and all the terrorists we in the West have suffered from are all inspired by the core of Islamic texts. See for yourself how beheading and stoning were ordered by Muhammad himself:

Narrated By Abu Zur’a bin ‘Amr bin Jarir : The Prophet said during Hajjat-al-Wada’, “Let the people be quiet and listen to me. After me, do not become disbelievers, by striking (cutting) the necks of one another.” goo.gl/WoIFx2

Islam – Banned for Blasphemy?

Here I copy this article from Raymond Ibrahim’s website – see the original here. I think this is particularly helpful to understanding Islam as the threat it is to all non-Muslims. When Muslims complain of blasphemy, please quote this. When our leaders suggest we should all worry about ‘Islamic sensitivities’, we should consider what Raymond Ibrahim says here – it is in fact the Koran itself which blasphemes against ALL other religions FAR more than anyone could blaspheme Islam.

Raymond Ibrahim is a former Muslim turned Christian, a Middle East expert, Ibrahim is the editor and translator of The Al-Qaeda Reader, which he published after discovering a hitherto unknown Arabical-Qaeda treatises; Ibrahim holds that document “proves once and for all that, despite the propaganda of al-Qaeda and its sympathizers, radical Islam’s war with the West is not finite and limited to political grievances— real or imagined- but is existential, transcending time and space and deeply rooted in faith”.[2] Wikipedia.

Ibrahim is a regular contributor to FrontPage Magazine.

Soon after Muslim gunmen killed 12 people at Charlie Hebdo offices, which published satirical  caricatures of Muslim prophet Muhammad, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)—the “collective voice of the Muslim world” and second largest inter-governmental organization after the United Nations—is again renewing calls for the United Nations to criminalize “blasphemy” against Islam, or what it more ecumenically calls, the “defamation of religions.”

Yet the OIC seems to miss one grand irony: if international laws would ban cartoons, books, and films on the basis that they defame Islam, they would also, by logical extension, have to ban the entire religion of Islam itself—the only religion whose core texts actively and unequivocally defame other religions, including by name.

To understand this, consider what “defamation” means. Typical dictionary-definitions include “to blacken another’s reputation” and “false or unjustified injury of the good reputation of another, as by slander or libel.” In Muslim usage, defamation simply means anything that insults or offends Islamic sensibilities.

However, to gain traction among the international community, the OIC cynically maintains that such laws should protect all religions from defamation, not just Islam (even as Muslim governments ban churches, destroy crucifixes, and burn Bibles). Disingenuous or not, the OIC’s wording suggests that any expression that “slanders” the religious sentiments of others should be banned.

What, then, do we do with Islam’s core religious texts—beginning with the Koran itself— which slanders, denigrates and blackens the reputation of other religions? Consider Christianity alone: Koran 5:73 declares that “Infidels are they who say God is one of three,” a reference to the Christian Trinity; Koran 5:72 says “Infidels are they who say God is the Christ, [Jesus] son of Mary”; and Koran 9:30 complains that “the Christians say the Christ is the son of God … may God’s curse be upon them!”

Considering that the word “infidel” (kafir) is one of Islam’s most derogatory terms, what if a Christian book or Western cartoon appeared declaring that “Infidels are they who say Muhammad is the prophet of God—may God’s curse be upon them”? If Muslims would consider that a great defamation against Islam—and they would, with the attendant rioting, murders, etc.—then by the same standard it must be admitted that the Koran defames Christians and Christianity.

Indeed, it is precisely because of this that some Russian districts are banning key Islamic scriptures—including Sahih Bukhari, which is seen as second in authority after the Koran itself. According to Apastovsk district RT prosecutors, Sahih Bukhari has been targeted because it promotes “exclusivity of one of the world’s religions,” namely Islam, or, in the words of Ruslan Galliev,  senior assistant to the prosecutor of Tatarstan, it promotes “a militant Islam” which “arouses ethnic, religious enmity.”

Similarly, consider how the Christian Cross, venerated among millions, is depicted—is defamed—in Islam: according to canonical hadiths, when he returns, Jesus (“Prophet Isa”) will destroy all crosses; and Muhammad, who never allowed the cross in his presence, once ordered someone wearing a cross to “throw away this piece of idol from yourself.”  Unsurprisingly, the cross is banned and often destroyed whenever visible in many Muslim countries.

What if Christian books or Western movies declared that the sacred things of Islam—say the Black Stone in Mecca’s Ka’ba—are “idolatry” and that Muhammad himself will return and destroy them? If Muslims would consider that defamation against Islam—and they would, with all the attendant rioting, murders, etc.—then by the same standard it must be admitted that Islamic teaching defames the Christian Cross.

Here is a particularly odious form of defamation against Christian sentiment, especially to the millions of Catholic and Orthodox Christians. According to Islam’s most authoritative Koranic exegetes, including the revered Ibn Kathir, Muhammad is in paradise married to and copulating with the Virgin Mary.

What if a Christian book or Western movie portrayed, say, Muhammad’s “favorite” wife, Aisha—the “Mother of Believers”—as being married to and having sex with a false prophet in heaven? If Muslims would consider that a great defamation against Islam—and they would, with all the attendant rioting, murders, etc.—then by the same standard it must be admitted that Islam’s most authoritative Koranic exegetes defame the Virgin Mary.

Nor is such defamation of Christianity limited to Islam’s core scriptures; modern day Muslim scholars and sheikhs agree that it is permissible to defame and mock Christianity. “Islam Web,” which is owned by the government of Qatar, even issued a fatwa that legitimizes insulting Christianity.  (The Qatari website also issued a fatwa in 2006 permitting burning people alive—only to take it down after the Islamic State used the fatwa’s same arguments to legitimize burning a Jordanian captive pilot.)

The grandest irony of all is that the “defamation” that Muslims complain about—and that prompts great violence and bloodshed around the world—revolves around things like cartoons and movies, which are made by individuals who represent only themselves; on the other hand, Islam itself, through its holiest and most authoritative texts, denigrates and condemns—in a word, defames—all other religions, not to mention calls for violence against them (e.g., Koran 9:29).

It is this issue, Islam’s perceived “divine” right to defame and destroy, that the international community should be addressing—not silly cartoons and films.

The Dilemma of Islamic Terrorism – by Ali Sina. When ex-Muslims speak – we’d better listen.

This article by the ex-Muslim Ali Sina evocatively captures the problem with Islam and what should be done about it. It leaves space for Muslims to listen to the facts about Islam which he trusts will help them turn away from the belief system, but it also states powerfully that:

“I am not in favor of mass deportation, and less in favor of casting terror in the hearts of Muslims. I hope to set them free with truth so they can be our friends, instead of our enemy. But the last thing I want is for the entire world to become Islamic State. I rather see Muslims expelled from Europe, America and Australia, even by force and coercion, than billions butchered by them a generation from now. I witnessed Shah’s cowardice when he failed to gun down a few hundred protesters in the Islamic uprising of 1979 and as the result over a million Iranians were killed by the Islamic regime and the country has become a giant prison. So I know a thing or two about pragmatism. If Islam is allowed to win it means the end of human civilization. If Islam wins, humanity will enter a dark age from which it can never emerge.”  Ali Sina.
